Supported Environments | Browser Resources | IE Compatibility Settings | Problem Browser Extensions
The Risk Management Center supports all major modern browsers. Mobile platforms are supported, but the Risk Management Center is not optimized for smart phones.
Supported Environments
Windows
- Internet Explorer 10 & 11
- Google Chrome (current version)
- Mozilla Firefox (current version)
We are no longer able to support Internet Explorer 8 or 9. The Microsoft Edge browser is also unsupported. You can check the version of Internet Explorer that you are using by pressing the Alt key on your keyboard to expose the File menu in the top-left corner. Select Help from that menu, then About to display the version number.
OS X & iOS
- Safari (current version)
Android
- Mozilla Firefox (current version)
- Google Chrome (current version)
Browser Resources
- Download Internet Explorer 11 from the Microsoft website, or through Windows Update
- Download Firefox from the Mozilla website
- Download Chrome from the Google website
Internet Explorer Compatibility Settings
Internet Explorer's compatibility mode emulates previous versions of the browser and may cause the log-in page to become unresponsive or redirect you to the Supported Browsers page in Internet Explorer 10 or 11 when enabled. To disable compatibility mode:
- Click the Tools
menu in the top-right, or press Alt + X on your keyboard
- Select Compatibility View settings from the menu
- If lossfreerx.com appears in the list, select it and click Remove
- Some configurations of the Risk Management platform may use a different domain. Check the domain of the log-in page in the address bar of your browser or contact us for help.
Browser Extensions
Extensions can be installed in Chrome or Firefox that make them emulate other browsers. Several such extensions are available to emulate Internet Explorer and may cause compatibility issues with our site when used. Here are steps to check for and disable these extensions:
Chrome
- Click the Settings button
in the top-right of the Chrome browser window
- Select More Tools from the menu, then Extensions
- Remove the Enabled check-box next to any extensions that reference Internet Explorer or User Agents
- Common examples: IE-On-Chrome, IE Tab, or User-Agent Switcher
- Reload the log-in page to see if that resolved the problem
- Note that just refreshing the Unsupported Browser page will not cause the log-in page to reload
Firefox
- Click the Settings button
in the top-right of the Firefox browser window
- Select Add-ons
- Click the Disable button next to any extensions that reference Internet Explorer or User Agents
- Common examples: IE Tab, or User-Agent Switcher
- Reload the log-in page to see if that resolved the problem
- Note that just refreshing the Unsupported Browser page will not cause the log-in page to reload
