Adding a COI using the Short Form
The short form allows you to only track the certificate expiration dates.
- Select Applications from the platform navigation bar
- Select COI Track
- Click the New button in the upper-right
- Select the Certificate Type from the drop-down menu
- Click Continue
- Enter in the Certificate Name
- Select the Vendor from the drop-down menu
- Enter in the expiration dates for the applicable lines of coverage
- Under the Attachments section, click the New button to add the certificate
- Click Select Files
- Find the certificate file and attach it
- Click Done
- Click Save & Close
Adding a COI using the Full Form
- Select Applications from the platform navigation bar
- Select COI Track
- Click the New button in the upper-right
- Select the Certificate Type from the drop-down menu
- Click Continue
- Enter in the Certificate Name
- Select the Vendor from the drop-down menu
- Click on the Full Form button
- On the Main tab, Enter in the Insurers Affording Coverage
- Based on the type(s) of insurance on your certificate, fill out the General, Auto, Excess/Umbrella, and Worker’s Comp sections with the information from the certificate
- On the Other tab, enter in any non-standard lines of coverage on your certificate
- On the Options and Exclusions tab, check any of the options that apply or click the Add Option button to add a new option
- You can enter the text from the description of operations section on your certificate in the Comments section
- On the Information tab,
- Enter in a Revision Number if applicable
- If you would like to track by project, click the
icon next to the name of the project to move it over to the Assigned Projects column
- On the Attached Documents tab,
- Click Select File
- Browse and upload a copy of the certificate
- If you would like to compare this certificate to one of your default sets, select the requirement set under Minimum Requirements
- If you would like to validate the certificate entered with the minimum requirements, select Validate. Any areas not meeting the minimum requirements will be highlighted in red
- Click Save
