Add a Job Description

Launch Video

1. Select Applications from the menu bar
2. Select Job Description Track
3. Click the New button in the upper-right to add a new job description
4. Select the Job you would like to create a job description for from the drop-down menu
   1. To create a new job, click the button
   2. Enter the Job Name and Keywords
   3. Click Save
   4. Select the newly created Job from the drop-down menu
5. Click Continue
6. Enter in the required and any other applicable fields in the General tab
7. Click Save and Continue
8. Select the Duties tab
   1. To add Essential Duties and Responsibilities, click New under the applicable section
      1. Enter in the essential duty or select from the drop-down menu
      2. Enter in the frequency of the duty (percentage)
   2. To add Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities, click New under the applicable section
      1. Enter in the non-essential duty or select from the drop-down menu
9. Select the Qualifications tab
   1. To add Years of Experience, click New under the applicable section
      1. Enter in the required fields
   2. To add Qualifications and Certificates, click New under the applicable section
      1. Enter in the qualification/certification or select from the drop-down menu
10. Select the Physical Demands tab
    1. To add Physical Demands, click New under the applicable section
       1. Select the Physical Demand from the drop-down menu (required)
       2. Select the Frequency from the drop-down menu (required)
       3. Enter in the hours (optional)
    2. To add Lifting and Carrying Capacities, click New under the applicable section
       1. Select the Lifting and Carrying Capacity from the drop-down menu (required)
       2. Select the Frequency from the drop-down menu (required)
       3. Enter in the distance (optional)
       4. Enter in the task (optional)
    3. To add Pushing and Pulling Capacities, click New under the applicable section
       1. Select the Pushing and Pulling Capacity from the drop-down menu (required)
       2. Select the Frequency from the drop-down menu (required)
       3. Enter in the distance (optional)
       4. Enter in the task (optional)
11. Select the Conditions tab
    1. To add Mental and Visual Demands, click New under the applicable section. If no demands are available, new ones can be added through the Job Description Track Setup menu.
       1. Select the Mental and Visual Demand from the drop-down menu (required)
       2. Select the Frequency from the drop-down menu (required)
    2. To add Work and Environmental Conditions, click New under the applicable section
       1. Select the Work and Environmental Condition from the drop-down menu (required)
       2. Select the Frequency from the drop-down menu (required)
    3. To add Job Specific Conditions, click New under the applicable section
       1. Select the Job Specific Condition from the drop-down menu (required)
       2. Select the Frequency from the drop-down menu (required)
12. If you would like to download a report of the final job description, click Download

Note: The information entered in the Duties, Qualifications, Physical Demands, and Conditions sections automatically saves as it is entered.
