Run a Trending Report | Create a Trending Report | Edit a Trending Report
Incident Track includes several customizable trending reports in which you can view incident data in both a visual format and a downloadable Excel file. You can create additional trending reports in your account, also.
Run a Trending Report
- Select Incident Track from the Applications menu in the platform navigation bar
- Select Trending from the Incident Track navigation bar
- Click the Run icon next to the desired report
- If applicable, select a Date Range and Time Span for the report and click Run
- If desired, click Print to send the image to the print queue
- If desired, click Export Data to download a spreadsheet of the report data
Create a Trending Report
- Select Incident Track from the Applications menu in the platform navigation bar
- Select Trending from the Incident Track navigation bar
- Click the New button in the upper-right
- Select the desired visual style for the report graph
- General tab:
- Required fields are bordered in gold
- Range: Set a date range for the report
- Time: Filter incidents by the time of day that they occurred
- Run using this date/time range: Save the Range & Time fields as default filters for the report
- Click Next to progress to the Data tab
- Data tab:
- Click the New button to add a data parameter to the report
- Section: Select a data category to expose Field
- Field: choose a data type
- Color & Style: choose how this data will appear on the graph
- Click Save & Close when finished
- Click Next to progress to the Sites tab
- Click the New button to add a data parameter to the report
- Sites tab:
- Click the New button to include a site in the report
- Select a Site to expose the Departments/Locations filter
- If desired, select Departments and Locations by which to filter the report
- Click Save & Close when finished
- Click Next to progress to the Root Causes tab
- Click the New button to include a site in the report
- Root Causes tab:
- Click the New button to filter the report by a root cause
- Select a Category to expose the Cause field
- Select the desired Cause from the list
- Click Save & Close when finished
- Click Next to progress to the At-Risk Behaviors tab
- Click the New button to filter the report by a root cause
- At-Risk Behaviors & At-Risk Conditions tabs:
- Click the icon in the Unselected Filters column to filter the report by that behavior or condition
- Click the icon in the Selected Filters column to remove a filter
- Click Next to progress to the final tab
- If desired, click Preview to run the report before saving
- Click Save & Close when finished
Edit a Trending Report
- Select Incident Track from the Applications menu in the platform navigation bar
- Select Trending from the Incident Track navigation bar
- Click the Name of the desired trending report
- Follow the same steps as creating a report to edit an existing report
Trending reports can be archived or deleted using these instructions.
